Biography

 

Mr. Schenk is the firm’s founder and Managing Member.  Originally from Munich, Germany, Mr. Schenk lives in the United States for more than twenty years.  Mr. Schenk holds a Master of Laws degree in Real Property Development from the University of Miami.  He regularly advises clients on their real estate and business legal needs in Florida.  Mr. Schenk previously worked as an associate within the International Practice Group, the European Practice Group and the Real Estate Practice Group at the reputable Florida-based law firm of Becker & Poliakoff, P.A.

Mr. Schenk began his career as an international business consultant and strategic analyst for LWS Risk Management Consulting GmbH (Munich, Germany) and LWS Risk Control Corporation (Miami, Florida) where he consulted medium- to large-sized companies in Europe, Latin America and the United States.  

As a business advisor, Mr. Schenk consulted leading real estate developers in both Europe and Florida.   In particular, Mr. Schenk consulted one of Germany’s elite real estate developers in its real estate holdings in Florida and assisted in the successful development of a multi-high-rise condominium project in the Miami Beach area.  His experience includes creating and coordinating a management team (for project completion and for dealing with several condominium associations) and negotiating joint venture agreements with some of Florida’s top developers.
 

As a legal advisor, Mr. Schenk:

 

Consults real estate and business investors, investment groups

Consults real estate developers

Acts as corporate counsel to various domestic and international companies.

Acted as lead real estate counsel for a high net worth Brazilian entrepreneur on a multi-million dollar sale of two condominium hotels in Orlando, Florida.

Assists contractors and service providers in real estate matters

Assists clients with various company formation and operational matters, including business entity selection, business formation and preparing company agreements, including shareholder, operating, limited partnership, buy-sell and joint venture agreements.

Consults clients, including physicians, medical and pharmaceutical companies, furniture companies, technology companies, food distributors, and real estate investors with business enterprises in the United States, including business plan, tax and market analyses (in conjunction with business and tax consultants), site location, acquisitions and/or leasing, permits and licensing, and prepares relevant contracts such as confidentiality, employment, consulting, independent contractor, licensing and distributor agreements.

Assists individuals with Florida estate administration and estate planning needs.

Acts as a liaison to foreign clients for all legal matters, including litigation and arbitration matters in the United States, including real estate investment fraud matters, collection matters, probate litigation, and general construction and real estate or business disputes.
